Frequently asked questions
Who has to make the annual report?
Foreigners who hold an ACR I-Card, in person, within the first 60 days of each calendar year. Tourists get the card when they extend past 59 days, so a long stay over New Year usually means a report. Some visa holders have their own arrangements, so check with the BI if you are unsure.
How much is the annual report fee?
PHP 300 plus a PHP 10 legal research fee, PHP 310 in total.
What is the fine for a late annual report?
PHP 200 for each month late, up to PHP 2,000 a year. The charter does not say how a part month is counted; this calculator counts each month you have started, so it may slightly overstate the fine.
When is the deadline?
The 60th day of the year: 1 March in most years, 29 February in a leap year.
